FAQ’s

Where and When Can I have my Trial?

Trials can either be held in my home in Woodland Hills or at a client’s home/location. Travel fees may apply. I do request that you only bring one adult guest to your appointment if coming to my location.

How do I prepare for my Trial?

Providing me with a picture of yourself in daylight and of any hair and/or makeup inspiration photos prior to your trial is extremely helpful. This help me dial in the look you wish to achieve on your special day. For bridal trials, it is helpful to wear a white or light colored top with no collar to resemble your wedding dress.

Should I Prep My Hair?

Wash and blow dry your hair the day before or the day of your trial. Do not flat iron your hair as it very hard to curl once it’s been flat-ironed. If you plan on wearing your hair curly for the wedding, please wear it curly for your appointment. Please do not arrive with wet hair, unless you are getting a blow-out for your style. We do not wash hair at trials or appointments.

What Should I Bring?

Please bring any hair accessories that you plan on wearing for your wedding day. If you have a specific hair product or makeup product that you want to use for your wedding, for example, a specific blush or lipstick, please bring those as well. If you have allergies to certain makeup brands or makeup ingredients, please let us know in advance.

How Long Will It Take?

Each service (makeup or hair) takes about one hour.  Hair and Makeup trials take about two hours. Please specify if you have a special circumstance, such as very long and thick hair so that we add time to your trial.

.

Should I Come With a Clean Face for my Trial?

You can come with a clean face or wear your usual makeup to give us an idea of your makeup preferences. It’s totally up to you! We will prep your skin with moisturizer and primer, so no need to bring those items.

Can I Try Different Looks?

I recommend that you choose your favorite hair and makeup look for your trial. I am happy to make some adjustments to the hair and makeup during the trial based on your feedback. If you want to start a new and completely different look from scratch after the first two hours, the fee is $50 for every extra half hour after.

Will You Be Taking Pictures at the Trial?

I like to snap a before and after picture at the trial to capture your transformation. I am happy to send you a copy of the pictures. I use these for reference and to add to my portfolio of work.

Can I Reserve my Wedding Date at the Trial?

If you’re happy with your trial and want to move forward with booking your wedding date, I request a completed and signed Contract in addition to a deposit of 30% of your wedding day services.

How Can I Pay?

Trial payments are made at the time of booking. Please note that a trial is not confirmed until a payment is received. Payments can be made via Venmo or Paypal.
